"Very friendly and helpful staff. Modern apartment with two balconies with a view of the mountains. Grocery store and Jumbo two streets down. Bus stop very close with buses taking you to Old Town and Amadoura beach. You can walk to Koules Fort and the Old Town by walking along the ocean too! "Booked as a last minute 3 night stay for my wife and I, having not been to Crete previously. The hotel was great. Large clean room with a sea view, 2 pools, a water park and plenty of sunbeds. There is also a reserved area on the beach for hotel guests with an all inclusive bar right next to it. The food was good, with plenty of choice. I would 100% recommend this hotel. We are already looking at returning again with our kids."

"Could not recommend this place more! We will definitely be going back. The staff was phenomenal, when we arrived we were greeted by a concierge who took our bags inside/to our rooms and made us a mimosa while we filled out our check in details. We did the half board so we got a buffet breakfast and dinner each night that had so many options and were very delicious! "This hotel is as stated above is well situated for the beach (which is very narrow) and all local bars and shops. Gouves is a pleasant resort but spread over a large area comprising of the seafront, two streets with shopping and bars/restaurants, and about a mile of seafront with shops and restaurants, spread thinly along the front.
