"My wife and I stayed here for our first getaway in quite sometime and we were not disappointed. The cottage was located in a beautiful, remote location but only 20 min from anything we needed or wanted to do. The accommodations were modern and comfortable. The WiFi worked well. "Nice open floor plan, back porch is great for morning coffee and star watching at night, and 'no wi-fi' is a plus in this instance. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. A lot of places don't let you use their fireplace, and I liked that we could, so extra bonus. And you can tell there is some history with this place. I went with wife and kids (8 and 10) and would absolutely recommend."

"Everything was amazing during our stay. Ample sleeping and sitting space and well appointed for our group of 15 celebrating our family Christmas. Peaceful and quiet with nice wooded view and we saw deer at the end of the driveway. The covered patio and Blackstone worked out great for our large breakfast cooking in the rain. Would definitely stay again. "

"We had a wonderful weekend getaway! The house was beautifully furnished with all the essentials, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was exactly what we needed to relax, and we loved the little bar area and outdoor TV. The only downside was that the hot tub lacked privacy, as people could walk or drive by, which felt a bit awkward. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay again!"

"Lakehaven Cottage has been THE BEST VRBO stay we have ever had. The hosts think of everything you may need for a relaxing stay. They provide excellent homemade buckeyes, cookies and dog treats. They also have some toiletry items should you need them. This is our second stay and we plan to return. Highly recommend!"

"Nice location and quiet. Hot tub was nice, cabin had a fun design that met our needs. We enjoyed staying there. Some cons were regarding maintenence items: some deep scratches in the paint in a few areas, shower faucet that was plumbed wrong makin hot cold and cold hot, kitchen faucet also should be replaced. These were just annoying, but we enjoyed our stay"

"We really enjoyed our stay, it was a really nice house with plenty of space and a great view out the back den with full surround windows. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking in the Hocking Hills State Park. Being close to town where there are a few shopping options made it easy to cook our own meals at the house."

"This was a great stay! This place was even better in person - cute, bright, and tidy nautical theme throughout. Layout was great for our family. First time to Buckeye Lake and we thoroughly enjoyed bikes on site for the 4 mile path along the lake. Loved the cocoa, Chocolate, and peppermint welcome treat in the kitchen. "143 Elliot St at Buckeye Lake was an adorable four room house with a laundry room. Many homes on the street to this location looked a bit tattered but this little house had a complete makeover. Plenty of space for the two of us. We had two bedrooms but only used one. Nice eat in kitchen fully furnished with everything and even some condiments in the pantry. Laundry room was equipped with washer/dryer and laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Basically all we needed to bring was our clothes and...
