The only residential gated community right on the beach. Low density complex with lush tropical landscaping, pool, BBQ area and tennis courts. This unit has been remodeled to keep its character while offering the convenience of modern amenities. Its ground floor location makes it feel more like a home with its large deck overlooking the park. Views of the turquoise Caribbean sea from the open plan living room/dining room and the deck. Lots of windows and french doors, opening to balconies or deck, make it bright and attractive. Second separate entrance to master bedroom offers more flexibility.

Take your towel and walk just a few steps to the sugar white beach or sunbathe by the pool. You can enjoy hikes along the parks with Mayan ruins or play a game of tennis. Plenty of activities at your fingertips including sightseeing, Tulum, Chichen-Itza, Cozumel and so much more.

From the airport take the ADO bus to Playa del Carmen and walk to your vacation home from the bus station.

This place is amazing! A 5 minute walk to a nearby "mall" and just a few minutes more to 5th Avenue. A 4 minute walk to the beach. a 1 minute walk to a Mayan ruin. 20 minute walk to WalMart. Taxis just a few minutes away, too. Oh yeah, ferry is a 6 minute walk.Having two bathrooms was great, water delivered whenever you are out. The AC works when needed, otherwise fans keep the air moving around. Four beach chairs provided, I am never sitting on a towel on the beach again!Only thing to think about is the kitchen does not have any salt and pepper and things like that. But really not that big of a deal.Loved this property!

LOVED this property! Perfect location between town and beach (just few blocks to town and just across lawn and street to beach). In Fase 1 (residential), so must pass by security gate to enter...felt super safe, although was never nervous anywhere in Playa. Managers were absolutely phenomenal! Great communication and super friendly. We will be back...highly recommend!

Great property, even nicer than we expected. Kitchen had not only utensils but some oil, filtered water, coffee, tea, spices... a very nice touch. Washer & dryer right in the unit. Walking distance to 5th street and all of the night life, shopping and restaurants. Beautiful beach just steps away and a nice pool that was empty the entire time we were there. If we are ever back in the area we would absoluty stay here again. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at this property. Security patrolled regularly, and the grounds and unit are well-maintained. The location is within walking distance of all the shops, ferry, and beaches. The unit owner was reassuringly very responsive when we had a minor hiccup with checkin getting the keys. Playa del Carmen vacation
The apartment is in a beautiful complex, charming, old-style architecture, and beautifully decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. The plants and animals outside added so much charm - the flowers were gorgeous, and the beach is literally 3 minutes away. We even befriended a local cat whom we called Carmen - she was a great addition to our company. The apartment also has everything you need for the beach - chairs, towels, a parasol. We also made our Christmas dinner at home - it was great to be able to cook and have a quiet family supper. (By the way, the supermarket is maybe 10-15 minutes away, so that was very practical.) The patio is very secluded and inviting - we spent a lot of time there. We were also able to go on a day trip to visit the Maya ruins in Tulum and Coba and swim in a cenote. That was a huge bonus! Thank you, Marie, so much, and happy 2019!

Great experience!
Our first rental experience was a great one. The house surrounded by lush gardens and the ruins was just the beginning. The Mexican style house with every convenience did not disappoint. We used the pool everyday, most times we had it to ourselves. A short walk to 5th Avenue was also welcomed as well as the beach. Lots of seaweed on the beach, could be seasonal. That’s the only negative of our wonderful stay at Casa Armonia.

WONDERFUL - Comfortable & Relaxing
We loved Casa Armonia, the location is perfect, having the view onto the park/Maya Ruin, shaded by trees and a peek of the ocean on the horizon is amazing. The apartment comes with everything you could need.....including great beach chairs and an umbrella. The pool was secluded and clean, love the landscaping and the close proximity to Paseo del Carmen. Location, location!! Easy walking access to town and beach. Loved our stay here!
Such a great place to stay in Playa del Carmen! Right on the edge of 5th Ave shopping and restaurants. A stones throw from the ferry dock and beach access right across the road. Note that the beach is a public one and was always quite crowded while we were there. A lot of what you need is provided: kitchen amenities, drinking water, beach supplies. The neighborhood always felt safe and we had no issues walking around after dark. Owner is very nice and easy to communicate with. A great place to use as a base for exploring Quintana Roo and the Yucatán! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, relaxing retreat
I stayed with a friend of mine for a little under two weeks. The property was clean, spacious and a relaxing retreat. A couple of minutes walk from shops, the beach and even some ruins. I'd definitely recommend it to others and would even stay there again.

Loved our stay here. The condo was lovely - very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed and more. The front porch was perfect for relaxing with our morning coffee. Relaxing, our best stay yet...
We had a wonderful stay, felt like we were at home. We were very happy to see that "we" had beach chairs and towels provided. Even some sunscreen left from previous stays. Best part, Sammy the cat strolling through a few times a day to see if anyone cannot finish their tacos. Beach was wonderful, skies were relaxing, friends were the best....oh yeah, and our margaritas we made at "home", THE BEST!

Perfect Getaway!
From the time we stepped onto the verandah with its comfortable furniture and lovely view of the park, we knew that this place was special. Less like a holiday condo and more like the home of a kind friend who invited us to use their place, Casa Armonia was tastefully appointed, and thoughtfully stocked. We were 4 adults and we self-catered a number of our meals , so the completeness of the kitchen was a big hit! Every day we took our chairs and plush beach towels across the yard and street to the uncrowded white sand beach. Afternoons were spent by the lovely pool, which we frequently had to ourselves. It was not necessary to rent a car in order to enjoy the excitement of downtown activities. A short walk to the town center put us in the midst of great shopping and lively nightlife. For all its convenience, the Villas Arqueologicas location is quiet and residental; the grounds are manicured and the landscaping is lush. Taxi service was conveniently available for occasional errands and forays to Playa's north side for dinner. We would definitely return to this delightful property.
