Please NOTE- I now have new local condo managers that can address any issue while you are still on vacation should any issue arise!

My penthouse is located in Playacar Phase I which is the PREMIER location in all of Playa del Carmen as it's in a quiet, low density gated neighborhood with private million dollar estates. It's is a 12 minute walk from our complex to 5th Avenue shops/restaurants/bars and the ferry dock.

My penthouse has million-dollar views and you can throw a rock into the ocean from the balcony! This condo and complex is beachfront. You are not only renting from an owner, but a licensed travel agent!

If the idea of a small beachfront resort, a short stroll (10 min) on the beach into town to try a new restaurant and having a private driver greet you at Cancun airport with an icy cold beer waiting for you appeals to you, look no further, you can stop your search! My beachfront penthouse offers ALL of this and more:

1) 24 hour security in gated community and on the resort grounds with 2-3 times the size of beachfront as other resorts and it's BOUTIQUE, just 50 units total!!!
2) Swim up pool bar with waiters serving you around the pool (you can also BYO but no glass containers)
3) Free use of kayaks, Hobie Cats, bocce ball, bikes and volleyball, etc. See Lifeguard for arranging these activities
4) Fitness center & Spa for massage and facials
5) Infinity Pool, children's pool and warm Jacuzzi
6) WiFi available in condo, throughout the resort & pool and beach- free of charge
7) Thermostat controlled AC & ceiling fans throughout the condo?
8) Fisherman's Village is a QUIET resort in a quiet gated community! Sure you can opt to stay 'downtown' in a newer condo or all inclusive, but don't forget to pack your ears plugs....you'll be hearing loud music, rowdy drunks, and party-goers till the wee hours of the morning.
9) On-site parking free for guests (no rental car? No problem...cabs are only $5-$6 to town)
10) Optional all inclusive plan $98/ pp per day including unlimited alcoholic drinks, 3 meals a day and snacks. Otherwise our a la carte menu prices is similar to Chili's in the USA.
11) Our gated community does not allow "vendors" on the beach at all, so you can relax knowing you won't be hassled to buy blankets, massages, jewelry, jet skiing, etc like you will get on the beaches "in town".

Fisherman's Village in the private gated community of Playacar, right next to the town of Playa del Carmen. It's perfect for two couples with a king and a split-king in the 2nd bedroom OR a family because the split king can also be two twin beds.

Fisherman's Village is a family-friendly beachfront condominium complex with just 55 units in the quiet coastal community of Playacar just a 10 minute walk to Playa del Carmen. Fisherman's Village is known to be a nice quality resort/condo complex in the entire Yucatan Peninsula for it's elegance, fine service, and resort-like amenities such as a full service restaurant, room service, swim-up pool bar, full sized pool and a children's pool, water sports, jacuzzis for the complex, air conditioned gym, Spa services such as massages and facials.

This unit has travertine flooring, slab marble counter-tops, central air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout.

The entire upper floor is the Master Suite with huge picture windows out to the Sea. The bottom level features 2nd bedroom, bath, kitchen, living, half bath and dining areas and a large balcony overlooking the pool, beach and ocean. At night you can stand on any of the units balconies and see the twinkling lights of Cozumel across the Caribbean.

Free for all guest's use at Fisherman's Village are the bicycles (please let me know if BIKES are a huge thing for you before booking), kayaks, and Hobie cats! Don't know how to sail? We have an onsiactivitiestes director that can help you! It's a fabulous place for adults and kids alike.

Playa Del Carmen is located just 50 minutes South of Cancun and offers the same powdery white sand and turquoise waters, great restaurants and shopping-- without crowds of wild Spring Break partiers and towering hotels. In fact, Playa has a building height restriction to a maximum of 3 stories!

Fisherman's Village is just a 15 minute walk along quiet cobblestone roads or the beach to the town of Playa del Carmen. Also within a short walk is the 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, the local aviary, and the ferry that takes you over to Cozumel. Most guests do not rent a car during their stay except days they wish to explore other areas of the Yucatan. If you plan on lounging on the beach, shopping and eating out in Playa del Carmen, maybe taking the ferry to Cozumel one day-- you may not want a car the entire time. We can recommend reliable airport transportation to and from Cancun International to Fisherman's Village.

This property was exactly as described. It was phenomenal waking up every morning to the ocean views and having the convenience of the the adjoining hotel if we needed it. The propery manager, Gabe, was also so helpful in assisting us in our travel plans around the area. My kids and I had a great time.

Perfect getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay at Pamela’s. From before we even booked she was very helpful and responsive. A very clean quiet beach is just the past very well kept pools. The property staff and condo manager were warm and accommodating. If you like the idea of having your own kitchen and living space and two separate bedrooms, this is a great alternative to a hotel room! And the sunrise from the balcony or beach is well worth getting up for.

Everything was good. Disappointed they told us Hobie cat couldn’t be used. That was one of main reasons I chose this property. Food and drinks were very high and maid service more tha advertised on VRBO.

Pamela the just was perfect. always available and extremely accommodating. her place at fisherman's was perfect for 4(2 couples) fantastic view from the balcony and everything one might need for their stay. twin was an easy walk the condo was in a quiet place with access to more noise if you felt the need. the staff were very friendly and Gabriel ( Pamela's on-site help) went above and beyond to help spoil us. all in all 6 out of 5 stars!

Awesome Playacar location

Great Condo, Great Trip!
First of all the condo was clean, comfortable, and OMG the veiws of the ocean and pool area were fantastic! I've been to this resort before and always am impressed by the staff and the prperty as a whole. The pool, swim up bar, comfy lounge chairs make for a really nice way to spend the day! Fishermans also has Kayaks, bikes, volleyball, and classes available for free. The beachside restaurant is a great, convenient place to get a cold drink and great food that doesn't cost much at all. If all the tranquility is too much to take, the craziness and fun of 5th Avenue is a short 10-15 minute walk through a beautiful tree lined neighborhood. Finally the condo owner Pamela was super nice and had answers for all my questions with very useful recommendations. I'll definately be back!

Great time in Playa Del Carmen
We enjoyed the ocean front condo and are hoping to come back soon. The master bedroom is spacious and is upstairs. Our daughter had a spacious bedroom on the main level. Gabe was the property manager and helped us with water and excursions. There were 2.5 bathrooms which was nice as well. The resort is not crowded at all, as resorts down the beach were packed. Beach chairs were super comfy and we had lunch everyday at El Pescador, the beach side restaurant. We ate at restaurants that were recommended and they were all fantastic. No complaints! The only thing that needed attention were the windows overlooking the beach. They really could use a cleaning. Other than that, we loved the Fisherman’s resort and totally felt safe the whole time as it is a gated community.

We loved it here; the views are incredible, just perfect! The staff is so friendly. I cannot think of anything negative to say, everything was excellent! It was just the two of us for a big place so I used the downstairs bedroom and bathroom for my clothes and to get ready which turned out really helpful. The condo has incredible views from each level. Loved it!

The property is exactly as described. Sweeping Caribbean Sea views and lots of space in the condo. The smaller hotel was really nice as everyone knew your name by the next day and staff were very friendly and attentive. Afternoon beach volleyball was the best. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Playa!

I recently stayed at this stunning beach condo, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment we arrived, I was struck by the breathtaking ocean views and the calming sound of the waves. The condo itself was immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. The kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. The living area was cozy and inviting, with large windows that allowed for plenty of natural light. The bedrooms were serene and comfortable, ensuring restful nights throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the private balcony, where I spent many mornings sipping coffee and evenings watching the sunset. The beach was just a few steps away, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the sand and surf whenever I wanted. Additionally, the condo complex offered excellent amenities, including a sparkling pools and large jacuzzi. The location was perfect, with easy access to local restaurants, shops, and attractions. The owners were attentive and responsive, ensuring that my stay was seamless from start to finish. The property manager Gabe was friendly, courteous, and extremely accommodating as well. World class view; relaxing, quiet, and friendly
The property is a smaller resort; clean and well appointed. The view from the condo is absolutely amazing. You can sleep to the sounds of the Caribbean surf. The beach and pool are well maintained, with ample chairs and umbrellas. The staff are friendly, responsive, and helpful. If you want to avoid the noise and crowd, but still have some resort amenities, I would highly recommend this property. Pamela and Diego were both friendly and responsive from front to back. Our week-long vacation was most enjoyable.

Penthouse with a view
Two level condo was roomy and kitchen had a few pans. Property manager helped with our broken water pump. The unit could use a spruce. as some of the lamps had duck tape on them and we were afraid to use them. 10 year old magazines in draw and incomplete games. The complex was nice and staff helpful. There was a seweed issue called sarcasm on the beach so it smelled of sulfur. We are at the restaurant once and it was good.

Great experience!
Pamela's condo is amazing! We stayed there for our honeymoon and were very impressed with its amazing views and location. The beach is well-maintained and the water warm and swimmable. The staff is incredibly friendly and there are scheduled activities to take part in, if one so wishes. I'm not usually interested in group activities on vacation, but these were low-key and very entertaining. We did not do the all-inclusive plan, but opted to eat on our own. It was nice to have a full kitchen in the condo! I highly recommend Pamela's place!

Slice of Heaven
This was our first visit to Playa del Carmen. We had a really nice stay. The condo was clean and comfortable. The view of the turquoise sea, from our deck was awesome. The pool was cool and refreshing. Sargasso was not an issue. The beach was perfect. The walk to town takes about 10 minutes. SOOO many shops and restaurants. Nice secure location. The staff was pleasant. Loved it. Thank you Pamela!!!

Beautiful small resort/Perfect location
I couldn't have chosen a better place for my family vacation with my adult children. The condo is modern, spacious and had a spectacular view. My husband and I could lounge at the resort while our young adult kids could walk into Playa Del Carmen to shop or party at the clubs. The beach is private and beautifully maintained. The neighborhood was unique with ancient Mayan ruins scattered about. Fisherman's Village really had something for everyone. Pam was a responsive and gracious host. First Time In PDC
Good location but if you don't like to walk long distance then get a taxi because it's a long walk to get to the main gate. Food was ok, best deal is breakfast. Close to Xcaret we spent 3 days at their parks so we really didn't spend that much time at the condo. A/C works perfect, nice view, good communication with Pamela. If you want towels you must pay for maid service no washer or dryer you need to get laundry services as well. Very safe and beautiful private community.

Wonderful home away from it all!
Wow - what can I say! My husband and I rented the Oceanfront penthouse in Playa to get away from it all and it was more than we were even dreaming about! We had a WONDERFUL time! We loved the condo, the resort, the location...everything. The staff was really helpful, the service was great, and the location couldn't have been better. We loved taking runs in the morning through the neighborhood and then walking along the beach at night to get to Playa. The location was great in that it was close enough to everything you wanted to get to, but far enough away so that the beaches weren't crowded and there were always chairs available to lay out. I would go back in a heartbeat - thank you so much for a wonderful experience! I hope we have the opportunity to use you again in the future!

This property is beautiful! The view is amazing. Nicest pool I have ever been to. Staff is great.
Host Pamela provided all information promptly and with great insights. Her suggestion of hiring Miguel to drive us around the area was our favorite part of our trip.He is both knowledgeable of the area and truly fine young man. Property staff and activities were an unexpected treat. Playa can be walked to easily or take advantage of free bikes. Taxi was only about 5$ to get home at nite. If going to Cozumel take the Ultamar, the band on board was great. Rented E-bikes from Gozumel bike shop and got to visit a large part of island. Pamela unit is spacious and well equipped, definitely worth the price. Sunrise views were incredibly. Highly recommend Pamelas condo.

We loved this place!
Pamala’s place was outstanding! We loved every minute of it and hated to leave. It’s extremely secure and safe. All of the staff and help are very friendly and go out of their way to help if needed. It’s a nice walk to many wonderful places to eat and shop. El Fogón is about a 15-20 minute walk away was one of our favorites, we went there twice. We rented a car which made going to Walmart and other places very convenient. The beach is so beautiful and there were no issues with seaweed. Also, no problem with vendors trying to sell you stuff on the beach like other areas we have stayed at, huge plus. Pamala was very quick with responding to any questions or concerns we had. The view from the back deck is hard to beat. We have stayed at Fishermans Villiage twice now and will be returning for sure again! Thanks Pamala!
