Loud place need key card for ac pics not accurate
The online pics do not truly represent this place! They are all edited and taken from certain angles to make it look much much nicer than it really is. Good location if you want to party on 5th ave all night if you are looking for quiet or peaceful THIS IS NOT the place for you. The AC worked better than most places but you have to put you key card in to get power and AC so if you leave and come back to the room it is HOT. The room was also pretty dirty. The bedding and pillows and mattress were really very gross and dirty/old. I would not go back.

Our stay was very good. ...the apt was cleaned every day ...the sheets and towels changed every third day ...the location was great, if you want to be close the the beach and 5th ...the noise from the bands playing was loud most nights, usually ending around 1 am ...the kitchen was adequate, just enough dishes and cutlery for two, however the cooking pots were badly damaged and rusty....by previous guests.... cooking on the induction stove top requires knowledge of how to use this equipment.... There is a microwave, fridge, toaster and small coffee machine. Overall a pleasant stay at a reasonable price.

Amazing, calm, relaxing, classic kind of place. The best is how clean of a hostel it is, the location and how nice Rosa is!! I initially rented for 3 nights, ended up staying 8 days. It's a more private hostel so just communicate by watsapp with owners and they reply quickly. (number on the email reservation confirmation)

Location is good, however, it’s hard to find the property, no signal or door or reception. Luckily someone was arriving at the same time than us and showed us the strange door. Bathroom wasn’t great and bed sheets too small so they kept coming off

Tried to check in after a flight at the designated time I communicated with the reservation team prior to arrival since they meet you there, no front desk at all. No one came for an hour. Had to find WIFI again at a nearby Starbucks and rearrange another time later in the night. Tried checking in now (approx. 1.5 hours after original check-in time) only to find out that I needed the physical credit card that I used to pay for the stay - the same CC that paid the reservation IN FULL months prior. I had no credit card, so I was denied check-in. No other options given. Had to find another hotel/apt. for the night and the rest of my stay. Found Whatsapp messages throughout my trip from someone that is with the Apt./Hostel, but no resolve was met, only an apology. Working with Orbitz now for a refund for the denial of stay, especially since no stipulations were listed anywhere when booking, and the reservation paid in full prior. To say this was a disappointing experience is speaking kindly. Not sure this type of property / management should be on Orbitz.

I was disappointed in my stay at the Dolce Vita Caribe Beach B&B. PROS + Great location, right in the middle of central Playa del Carmen, within a short walking distance from everything! :-D CONS - Property not as advertised (don't expect the pool that is shown in pics, nor the breakfasts by the pool -- there is none... why the pics, then?!?) - Communication is lacking (I was charged twice for my stay, pretending it needed to be done, without any notice -- it is clearly to use platforms like Expedia but bypassing fees) - "Men Only" dorm used as "Mixed" (I was very uncomfortable with couples staying in the same dorm as me...) I basically felt like a number right after they got the payment for my stay. Unfortunately not uncommon in Playa but still disappointing.

It’s very clean, well maintain property with maid clean everyday. I was lucky, it wasn’t busy time, only me in the room, I get to have the room and bathroom all for myself :). Location is great.

Great location overlooking Quinta Ave. Pros : Functional unit in average condition ,clean, good size with full kitchen. Owners Marco & Aurico live upstairs & are very helpful with any issues. Good WIFI & flat screen TV with lots of channels. Free breakfast is served next door was tasty. Safe location, small balcony with view overlooking 5th Ave. Cons: Loud due to nearby bars. Hard to find, very small sign next to entrance. Bed linens & towels changed only every third day, unit is cleaned daily. Great A/C in bedroom but only a ceiling fan in kitchen so it gets very warm in that room. No safe in room. 10 AM check out seems punitive. You have the option of leaving your luggage until noon but you will be charged extra if left after that time. Overall a very positive experience.

Pros: nice location right on the street where all the stores are, great service and food when you include the breakfast that is in a nice restaurant. Cons: a lot of ants in the room, they had a system that when u get out of the room everything is shutdown including the A/C and when u get there the apartment it is really hot until it starts to cool down

Convenient but very noisy
It was a convenient location right on the main drag where many restaurants and shops were located. However, some nearby bars played loud music past 2 am. I had to buy ear plugs which even tho I use hearing aids I could still still hear the thumping noise late at nite. The air conditioner didn't work the first nite but the manager came the next moring and fixed it. I was provided with meal tickets for the restaurant downstairs but the food could only be described as mediocre and meager at best. I ended up eating elsewhere a couple of mornings even tho I had to pay full price for it. I also received some vouchers to the Kool Beach Club that allowed me entry for $400 MX (about $23 US) which could then be used to purchase food and drinks. The day before I left I received a nasty email which said that I would be charged if I took any shampoo or soap as well as a late fee of $25 US if I stayed past 10 am. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you're willing to put up with this sort of inhospitable treatment.

La peor experiencia
La persona además de que nos cobró dinero extra por llegada tardía sin previo aviso, se portó super grosero cuando uno quiso pedirle información sobre la estancia. Además, al final ni siquiera te esperan a que llegues, simplemente te dejan la llave en una cajita de seguridad donde ingresas un código y eso es todo. Su sistema no sirve y no tienen ningún tipo de empatía ante los problemas de los viajeros. La persona que tenía la reservación habló para avisar que alguien más iba a llegar y ellos le dijeron rotundamente que no se podía. Afortunadamente no se hizo caso de su amenaza y fuimos a rescatar la estancia. Definitivamente jamás me volveré a quedar en este lugar, fue una experiencia muy desagradable.

Me gusto que puedes hospedarte y esta super accesible a todos los lugares turisticos, el precio es excelente, es practiacamente un lugar para dormir y guardar tus cosas ya que no cuenta con alberca. Sin embargo la 5ta avenida esta practicamente a unos pasos, el ferry para cozumel a unos minutos, xcaret a minutos, playa te puedes ir caminando. si lo recomiendo si llevas plan de andar paseando por todos lados. Lo unico a considerar es que no hay parking propio y tienes que buscar en la calle , rentamos carro y siempre encontramos lugar pero no se como se ponga en temporada alta. gracias

Nous avons adoré l'emplacement, près de la plage, près de plusieurs bons restaurants et de l’action! Il y a deux épiceries à 15 minutes de marche. Plusieurs centres de plongées également à proximité. Le personnel est très accommodant. Une belle expérience!

Lo recomiendo.
En general mi estancia fue excelente, el único tema fue que no había agua caliente, tal vez primero había que acordar dicho servicio con la administración, fuera de eso es un lugar cómodo en relación precio calidad, está muy bien ubicado. Yo lo recomiendo y me volvería a hospedar con ellos.

En internet se muestran unas fotos con alberca y en la playa pero no es el ñugar donde te quedas, tenia la idea de despues de un dia de conocer lugares llegar a la alberca y pues tienes que pagar aparte para tener acceso a ella

La parrilla no sirve, no hay canales premium, de hecho dice servicio suspendido por exceso de pago, la limpieza no la hacen bien. Quiero mi reembolso, es mi primer dia y todo mal. Auer llegamos muy noche y hoy salimos muy temprano, llegamos y quisimos utilizar la cocina y ver el televisor y no pudimos, tampoco hay la secadora de cabello que ofrecen

La ubicación es excelente, cerca de la playa, el único detalle es que no tiene estacionamiento propio y todo alrededor es exclusivo, por lo que había que buscar en los alrededores donde estacionarse.

Hotellrum med liten smal balkong ut mot 5e avenyn. Ta med öronproppar :) Sängarna bekväma. Nya handdukar då vi sa till. Tvål men inte schampo. Trevlig engelsktalande värd. Dock talar hans fru, eller städarna, ej engelska. Ligger några minuters promenad ifrån strand. Gå en bra bit bort till höger, förbi Cozumelfärjan, så är det mycket böttre vad och strand.
