"This was a hidden gem of a property that we found after spending several nights and a fortune at the Jumeirah. My kids loved seeing the hundreds of goats as we drove up the driveway. The property had so much charm, very well kept and spacious, and the owner was lovely. "

"Our stay with Nicolas and his family at Son Grua was absolutely perfect. It's a perfect balance of luxury and comfort with charm and authenticity. The breakfast was great (and accomodated my gluten free restrictions) and we also had a delicious dinner in the garden one evening. We loved star gazing from the lounge chairs by the pool and listening to the crickets in the evenings. Son Grua made our whole trip very special. "

Don’t get duped into their half board rate - there are local restaurants despite them saying that there aren’t (there are two in the village within a three minute walk!). "A lovely week in November. Property was quiet and the staff we engaged with were friendly and polite. You need a car really for this one. Only disappointment was no oven in the kitchen as we do self cater but we did manage ok with the hob & microwave. "

We didn’t bother paying extra for dedicated parking and we never had trouble getting parked on the streets outside the hotel.
