"Had a lovely stay at Maison La Saixe! The owner was very kind and helpful and the room was nice. Quaint hotel with cool decorations and the breakfast was also amazing. Only down side is it’s a little far from the main town of Courmayeur (about 12 min walk). Overall really enjoyed my stay and would recommend staying here!"

"I brought three friends from the US for a hut to hut trip in the Dents du Midi and this was our starting point, The Auberge du Grand Paradis had recently been taken over by Kelly and her husband and they are doing a phenomenal job bringing this property back : the facilities are newly renovated and quaint, a typical Swiss chalet with the wonderful smell of wood all around, super clean, in the typical Swiss fashion. "We had a wonderful week in Saint Gervais and enjoyed the time in the beautiful appartment. It was so cosy and welcoming, we had a wonderful time there. The livingroom is perfect for a relaxing evening after a day of skiing. The kitchens has everything you need to cook a great dinner. The view from the balcony is probably one of the best ones you can have in Saint Gervais. We will definitely recommend it and probably come back in the near future. Thank you for an awesome stay. "

"We loved that this gave us a direct view of the Mont Blanc! We were rather surprised to learn that the room didn't come with its own bathroom. That part was not clear in Expedia but we were okay with it. The room was really small. Not ideal for tall people. We bumped our heads. The breakfast was pretty limited. "

"A delightful room in a typical alpine house with exceptionaly helpful and frendly hoasts. The dilicious breakfast provided on the varanda in a morning was great to start the day."

"The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

Good for groups

"We stayed in the penthouse. Very good space. The showers were a little small and a pity the shuttle service provided by the hotel was not running anymore so made travelling about more challenging. The food was surprisingly very good in the restaurant. "

"The staff were so helpful gave great advice and seemed genuinely happy to be there and made any reasonable accommodation to make their customers comfortable. The area around had good amenities shops and restaurants. Will definitely and happily return. "

"Such a great hotel! Everything was modern, clean and new. The pool/sauna were great, even though the hot tubs were a little on the cooler side. If we come back to Chamonix we will definitely stay here again!"
