"This place has huge potential to be amazing but there are some things that are not there yet. It is a beautiful, traditional building with a pool and outdoor bbq to use which are both brilliant. You need a car because it isn’t close to things but it is located in beautiful vineyards, close to lovely, small, French towns to explore. The host was a little unfriendly when we arrived and kept her distance, but that does mean it feels like you have the place to yourself. There are only 5 other rooms...

"Friendly welcome and very comfortable room. The swimming pool is beautiful. Excellent breakfast. The kitchen area for guests is well-equipped and very useful. The local area is varied and interesting - off the beaten tourist track, but a must for wine-lovers. Good markets in local towns and villages, and Roman remains to explore. My second stay at Vieux Platanes, and I am sure to return."

"Un très jolie site , une vue magnifique, les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et serviables. Par contre la chambre n est pas climatisée, avec la forte chaleur, les nuits sont un peu difficile. Dommage"

"Such a lovely stay. A very warm welcome, relaxing, nothing too much trouble. Delicious breakfast outside our room in the sun and very good evening meal too. Great location for Ventoux, the Luberon, Nesque Valley and ample restaurants around. "

"Firstly, there was no goddam reservation. There was no record of a reservation although paid for. The maison d'hote is not even a client of yours. We were left in the cold in a foreign country without lodging. I will try to contact the appropriate people a ebookers.ch tommorrow 27.06.2022 for a reimbursement but quite frankly I believe we have been defrauded- yes fraud. "
