"We arrived to a very clean cabin. It was well used but felt welcoming and you had the feeling that things were updated some. We noticed a few things that needed attention such as a light flickering non stop (too high for us to fix). The lighting in the cabin seemed a little dark overall. "I was on a trip passing through several states and two days before my reservation the manager called me saying that they were having problems with the hot water in the middle of winter and that he could not rent me the room. I understood the case and said it was ok for him to refund the reservation, but to this day they have never refunded me. This is fraud."

"We had an amazing time at the Big Lodge. It's secluded enough for privacy- a bear walked right past the front door- yet close to town for grocery runs and dinners out.
