"We had a one night stay at Craigielaw. Thouroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious well equiped and spotless. We only had one breakfast, so cant comment on the dinner service, but we were very satisfied and would have no hesitation in recommending Craigielaw."

"Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"

"The place was lovely and generally the stay was great, only small downsides were the bed was a wee bit too hard for me and I woke up a bit sore and the WiFi didn’t work in our room but other than that it was a beautiful setting, clean room and would recommend anyone who has a wedding in St Andrews to stay here super close to drive to."

"Very nice stay.lovely dinner. Very good excellent service. Nice friendly chef. Good service in the bar. The owner is very nice and helpful, as the entire staff are.the bedroom was a good size,at the rear of hotel,no traffic noise.comfortable bed.great sleep. We will definitely stay there again."

" Expedia, - this place has been closed for 6 months I booked it 6 months ago on Expedia and I hope that I can get my money back because we walked up the door was locked signs everywhere they were closed out of business We didn't hear anything or get any email We had to leave our quaint cute place that we were hoping to stay in to go to some City 20 minutes away and stay at a hotel"

"Absolutely 1st Class location and accommodation plus service ,standard of meals, friendly helpful staff,..all of the highest order! Very highly recommend the Old Aberlady Inn and I will be back! Many thanks to all for an excellent stay!"

"The room was very spacious and clean but lack of attention to basic needs ie: no bath mat or hand towels let it down a bit. Also a big problem is that they do not accept payment by card and have no eating facilities on site."
