"Charming old coaching inn. I stay here regularly when visiting Hemel. The service and breakfast is always excellent. Room no 1 is one of the smallest and usually OK. On this occasion, there was a noisy fan outside the room which meant I didn’t get much sleep. "

"From the word go this place was amazing from both outside and in. A big shout out to the lovely gentlemen who checked me in after a kind hearted stranger helped me with my baggage due to extreme pain and mobility issues. Check in was speedy, efficient and I was very happy with the hospitality during check in. The room was comfortable, warm and inviting. Easy to get to via the local bus. Very highly recommended. 😊"

"What a lovely place. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. There was everything from cereal to full english. Cooked to order, and was delicious The room was clean and well equipped. Comfy bed. Snacks were a lovely touch.
