Subway is less than a block if you want to head down to the more touristy parts or to CDG.As a tall person, I bumped my head a couple times due to the low ceilings, but I also understand this is a very old structure and things aren't built like today.Neighborhood is hip but a little sketchy in some spots like around Gare du Nord station. "We loved Sandy and Delphi es beautiful apartment! I had more than enough space to give us enough room to gather and plenty of privacy. The location was convenient for catching the Metro or the bus or Uber or Taxi. There were plenty of great places to eat just out our door. In addition we found great patisseries, cheese shops, wine shops and produce stands close by. Sandy and Delphine were wonderful hosts and I hope we someday meet again. Thank you so much."
