"Good welcome, room was lovely and warm and bedding clean and plenty of pillows and spotlessly clean towels. Nice touch of biscuits and chocolate. Great location and good price. Sadly there were signs of mould around the door and bathroom tiling could do with a more intense cleaning of the grout as orange/yellow build up, plus I shared the bathroom with two very large spiders that were well established as had webs in corners. Having said this, I would use the Wellington again as really convenient...

"I recently stayed at the hotel for a work trip and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, making it a perfect home away from home. The owners were incredibly friendly and chatty, always ready to help with anything I needed. The location is ideal – it's set in a lovely country area with beautiful walks, yet conveniently close to shops and places to eat. "The hotel was in the perfect location for the rail station, which was the reason for booking. The hotel was adequate in regards to their facilities, and the owner was very friendly, which is always a plus. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. It was a little bit musty in smell, though probably just needed airing a little bit more. Breakfast was reasonable and I was accommodated for allergies and preference. "
