Cozy, comfortable cabin
My family spent a week in the cabin. It was rustic, but still very comfortable: two sets of bunkbeds meant there was room for my 3 kids AND the stuffed animals had their own bed. We especially appreciated the large, sturdy table, which we used for meals and for games after dinner. The wood stove was easy to maintain and kept the cabin warm enough for us. It's definitely off the beaten track; I was glad we had a car with us for getting around the area. (A four-wheel drive would have been even better: the road to the cabin is a little rough!) I was able to cook dinner in the simple kitchen every night for a week, saving us a lot of money on restaurants. The owner was very generous with her time; she called several times in the week leading up to our visit to be sure we had everything we needed.
