"We booked a private room for 1 night, weeks in advance. We arrived at 1700 to an empty front desk and other travelers also waiting to check-in. We were told that rooms needed to be cleaned and we could wait. This wasn’t a big deal as we sat in the dining area. "It seems like a brand new property. The staff is super kind, both the front door staff and the one who communicate with you via WhatsApp (the staff of the sister hotel less so). They are extremely responsive. The location is great, near lots of restaurants and the beautiful Carolina park. "

"The suite is nearly as big as my house. It's beautifully furnished, in a relatively quiet area and the staff is excellent. There was a stocked refrigerator and kitchen. We were able to cook great breakfasts. There are plenty of choices if you prefer not to cook, as well. They provided 6 liter bottles of water daily! This is an absolute must when visiting the equator. Old Town was easily reached on foot or by taxi. "
