"Look, this isn't a 5 star hotel. If you want high-end, top everything, go to the Four Seasons. There are very minor aesthetic things I could nit pick, but they pale in comparison to the incredible staff, the location, and the general upkeep of the hotel. The rooftop pool (although pretty shallow) is always kept in good condition, full gym, massage, and bar on the roof patio are all clutch for the times you don't want to explore the city. "This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Historico Central and love it. The staff are incredible, the location is unbeatable, the food is good and it’s clean, quiet and very comfortable. "

"I had a good experience. The staff was polite and helpful. The rooms are cleaned up everyday and always provided water bottles and new towels with each cleanup. They do have rooms with AC and even hot tubs but these are not posted on Expedia. The staff was kind enough to allow me to upgrade the room once I was on site. It was a pleasant stay, I would definitely recommend!"

"I have no complaints about this hotel. It is my go to whenever I have stay in Mexico City. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very quiet in the evenings. "

"Amazing location for the price - you're able to easily explore Roma Norte, Condesa, and Chapultepec by foot. The rooms are old but comfy and clean enough. Staff is friendly. There could be better sound proofing in the rooms - it's easy to hear sounds from outside, in the hall, and from other rooms. The shower had low water pressure and the provided amenities (shampoo, soap, towels) are low quality. Overall, good value for a great location!"

"There was an annoying vibration coming back in cycles every few seconds. It was apparently coming from the glass panel separating the vanity and the headboard of my bed. The first night I was so exhausted that I did not pay attention. Later, it did not help with my jet lag."
