Honestly I had higher expectations for this hotel but it fell short in a lot of ways. First the positives. The hotel is very nice inside and the staff is friendly. The cost was also very reasonable especially since it included breakfast and free drinks and snacks. The breakfast itself was spectacular and the best part of the hotel. Now for the negatives. Our room was not clean (masks and someone's medicine inside drawers, trash inside trash cans and dust on the floor). It also lacked some basics like hand towels and soap. The standard room is tiny and there is barely any room around the bed. The bathroom is also very small and the shower pressure is way too strong. One of the days they forgot to clean our room. On the night of our check ins we were promised an upgrade the next day and told to not unpack as we will be moved. Well that was later taken back by the manager who said they couldn't accommodate us. Lastly and most importantly this area of Mexico City is way too crowded and it takes 45 minutes to get out of here by Uber and get to Roma or Polanco. It's actually faster to just walk towards your destination and take an Uber when you leave the historic area. A lot of demonstrations take place here so be prepared to hear some noise.

The hotel was excellent for us.... close to all we wanted to do and the staff was so helpful with our needs and information on local activities and places to see and eat. The roof top restaurant , not part of the hotel. Many of the staff were very courteous and pleasant One man in particular however was exceedingly rude. My wife asked for a bottle of red wine. He brought a bottle which was almost empty and had been opened the day before and the wine was off. We asked for a fresh bottle to be opened and he was obviously put off by his actions and then he poured only enough to barley cover the bottom of the glass. and then proceeded to attempt to rush us out of the room.

Whether enjoying breakfast on the terrace, watching the vibrant city life below, or marveling at the illuminated square at night, the view is nothing short of magical. It added a touch of elegance and charm to my stay that I’ll never forget. The staff truly made my visit extraordinary, with Esteban and José Fabi standing out for their incredible hospitality. They were not only professional and attentive but also genuinely friendly and eager to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect. The rooms were immaculate, blending comfort and style seamlessly, and the amenities were top-notch. Zocalo Central is extremely convenient. Directly across the street from so many important points of interest, if you're sightseeing. Best location, as it's within walking distance to so much beauty and history. Always saw lots of police while walking about keeping everyone safe. The hotel was gorgeous and we started each day by having a complementary breakfast at their beautiful rooftop restaurant with awesome views. We stopped off several times for a quick bite and non-alcoholic drinks, which were also complementary, at their café. We felt welcomed and comforted upon our return by the staffeach day. Our floor had a refrigerator with complementary water and fruit next to the elevator --nice touch--and we grabbed a bottle of water daily before heading out. Our stay at Zocalo Central was perfection!

It was not bad, but had a few issues TV was bad, shower drain was clogged. On te positive note there was a Cafe that was open 24hrs it was great to hang out and have beer or coffe or tequila, practically what ever you wanted.

Great location Amazing views from the Balcon restaurant Awesome free breakfast included AND free food at the downstairs cafe was a wonderful surprise! They also have free bottle water and apples. Some rooms are a little dated and dark. The bathrooms need more updating. But for the price - you get a lot of value overall. And the staff is really nice, helpful.
