"It wasn’t good. We arrived late to nobody being around. We had to ask for facilities to cook and for the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work very well. The room wasn’t clean, with us finding hairs in the sheets the bathroom constantly smelling. I reckon once, it was brilliant but now it’s rubbish. Not even in a good location. "

"This is an extremely budget friendly place and you get what you pay for. There's little privacy, you'll pay to use the kitchen, it's pretty dirty, and it's far from the center, but if what you need is a cheap spot, look no further! On the plus side, the staff was friendly, it's not far from the big Buddha overlooking the city and the wifi worked great."

"There is an intense hill to get to the hostel, but the views are stunning and the common area is very nice. The rooms are clean, but typical Sri Lankan. Price is definitely fair for what you have, and if you have any issues the team there will help you with anything."

"The place was well looked after, but not close to town. The staff were great. Only complaint would be the breakfast was not a buffet. You had to order it the day before. This is not a reflection of the hotel but a lot of monkeys. Do not leave anything outside. My aunt had a top and make up bag stolen. They can open doors as well. Must leave your balcony door locked."

"The hotel is just out of the hussle and bustle of Kandy city - about a 15min Tuktuk ride. Perfect to see all the sights in and around Kandy and then come back and relax in peace and quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the owner arranged trips and drivers in and around the Kandy area. The food is was amazing particularly Hassida's vegetable curry! "
