"We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend. We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday in the peace and quiet provided by this location. It also provides a large communal space with fire pits, swings, and large grills for cooking. We will definitely be booking again."

"I specifically ask if I could go fishing. Was told 3 times yes. Got there and you couldn’t for the water grass and weeds. The boat house was being renovated, so they offered to put me in Yhe Pelican house. It was a tiny home, with a short small loft for a bedroom which had a ladder to access the bed. I couldn’t climb the ladder. I tried to rest on the futon. It was to hard. No Tv, games, not even a radio, no cell service. The place was clean as was the land scape. They refunded my cost. "This location was great and everything we needed for a long term stay. Alexandria doesn't have many options but this one we felt safe and comfortable. The host provided great communication upon check-in and we only reached out to extend our stay a few times and they were very accommodating to the changes. Stayed from June to end of August. I would stay here again in the future. "
