Our cabin was everything we needed - very clean, comfortable and stocked with all of the essentials. Our host was very professional and easy to communicate with. She was very welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here - it was a home away from home!
We had a great stay at this cabin. It was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The yard was perfect for our dog, and the password lock was very convenient. The location was ideal for exploring Red River Gorge, and the peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!
This place was wonderful for our weekend getaway. Very clean and cozy. The owner was friendly and great with communication. Definitely would stay there again.
The host was quick to answer any and all questions. Everything I needed was available and the property was clean. The host went as far as giving us the connecting unit at no extra charge for my family and I to have more room. It was nice being able to walk out onto the shared porch and spend time together. The fire pits were a great time and the extra fire wood that was supplied came in handy. Would hook here again for sure :)
This spot might be small but has everything you need. Just minutes from several trailheads, a great coffee and ice cream shop just a mile away, and some great restaurants within 15 minutes.
Stayed for work great centralized location. Very new clean property. Pet friendly which was so helpful and owners are very proactive in regards to answering your questions you may have.
We enjoy staying at this "home"
We go offloading near by (hollerwood) & it makes it so much better to return "home" after riding all day.
The place is beyond nice for a offloading trip!
The owners care & take great care
Beautifully clean cabin, easy check in, great communication and customer service. So many amenities to make us feel at home and what we would need to enjoy our stay. These folks have taken the time to do it right!
Hosts were great, I was traveling with two teenage grands and they took the loft while I stayed downstairs, plenty of towels and hosts even offered more seeing I was traveling with teens lol. Mattresses were comfy, which I appreciated, the cabin was very clean and we bbq on the grills they provided and they had grill tongs and implements for that, provided high speed internet and television cable and turned us on to Ale 8 that was in fridge, I bought more to take home, close to coffee house and restaurant and Compton for any needed supplies, which we needed, it was so close to everything and the hosts are so nice, highly recommend, plan on staying here every time I come to the Gorge
Wonderful little cabin in the middle of everything
I brought my daughter here to celebrate her 11th birthday with outdoor climbing and hiking. I was so pleased with this cabin. It is super cute, clean, welcoming. It has a shared wall with another unit, and we honestly didn't even notice they were there. It is in the center of everything we wanted to do, usually we only had a 15 min drive or less to where we wanted to go. Beds were comfy, general kitchen items present (microwave, coffee pot, fridge, sink, cutlery). All in all, a wonderful little place that I am so happy we found and stayed in.
The cabin was just as advertised. We were looking for something in the $100-$200 price range that was pet friendly since we knew we wouldn’t be at the cabin most of the day due to enjoying nature. The can was clean and very well decorated. The property owners supplied firewood and even replenished by the fire ring without us asking. We went with another family and had the 2 cabins that shared a deck. It was very peaceful in the evening and the deck had plenty of room for 4 adults 2 teens and a child to be comfortable along with room around the picnic area to spread out but not be in any other occupants way. We will definitely come here again!
I didn’t realize how close the property was to tunnel ridge road/ nada tunnel. If you’re looking to hike any areas off tunnel ridge road this is a nice place. This is a 4 separate unit rental but we weren’t bothered by the other guests at all. A lady was there doing laundry when we arrived. Not sure if she was the owner or not but she was friendly and helpful. It was clean and looked really nice. The main bed was small so the wife slept in one of the loft beds and I slept on the main bed but that wasn’t a big deal to us. Every unit has their own fire pit and chairs but no one else was out at theirs while we had our fire. They had wood for us. I would stay here again. The owner got back to me quickly with a question I had.
This cabin was in a great location being just a short drive to natural bridge state park and Daniel Boone right near the trails for some of the best reviewed hikes and sights in the area. It is a great cabin for those who want to play hard outside during the day and have a comfortable place to crash at night. What stood out most was the cleanliness of this cabin. It was extremely clean and smelled fresh. The wifi worked great and there were a lot of nice “extras” we didn’t expect like Ale 8 in the fridge and Roku for the tv complete with direct tv to catch the match madness games. There is a blackstone and several gas grills on the property along with fire pits that would be great for cooking out and sitting around the fire.
The only downfall was the lack of soundproofing. We had kids in the duplex style unit next to us that were yelling quite a bit. We could also hear full conversations from the couple next to us and the males coughing woke us a couple times during the night. We felt we had to whisper talk to keep our convos from being heard from the other patrons.
While this was a downfall it didn’t ruin our trip or deter us from returning as we spend most of our day enjoying nature and just used the cabin as a space to wind down and sleep.
Jeff and Becky’s directions and communication were phenomenal prior to the trip and we had no hiccups that required us to contact them during. Over all we had a wonderful time!
We stayed over my kids spring break and had a wonderful time. The cabin was so clean and perfect for the 3 of us. Owners were very communicative and accommodating during our stay. Location is close to many activates we were able to do like kayaking, ziplining, horseback riding and hiking. We will defiantly be staying here again on our next trip!!
The cabin is great! Nicely set up and clean. But it is very small. Great for one or a couple. Close proximity to Koomer Ridge Campground and we had friends staying there so it was easy to meet up with them.
