"The Roxbury is an amazing experience! We were greeted by Robin who was super friendly and attended to our every need. The room was immaculate, individually themed and just the right size for 2 people. I would give this place an A+++!"

"Absolutely wonderful property! Alison warmly welcomed us and guided us throughout. Scandinavian design with Mid Century Vintage furnishings. This room features a private entrance, vintage desk and large window nook. We enjoyed the views of the beautiful grounds while seated on your private lounge chairs outside of our room. The onsite Dandelion restaurant had amazing vibe and equally amazing food and drinks. Breakfast was a lovely basket that we enjoyed in our patio. Large, clean bathrooms....

"Lovely find! Quaint and quiet with mountains and trees surroundings. Dining and bar right underneath the rooms with an outdoor area for chairs circling a fire ring. We felt like the only ones there on the weekend. Beautiful fall foliage drive to Phoenicia and Woodstock. "

"I had always heard about the Catskills, but had never been before now. Found the Shandaken Inn on an internet search, and wasn't sure if it would be all it seemed to be. it was even better! The property was gorgeous, surrounded by inviting peaks; a large open field, with a swimming pool at one end and several independent cottages at the other, offered a great place for our dog and us to amble; a short nature trail, well maintained, connected to an old railroad bed that was nice to stroll. ...

"I had a good stay, there was an issue with the roof leaking in a heavy rain storm but was dealt with promptly. I was given another room and it in no way affected the stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating and adding an additional day to my stay was not a problem."

"We stayed at the Hidden Inn in pursuance of our trip to Hobart for the book village and for my birthday on Friday. During our short stay, we felt we had an amazing experience feeling the warmth and hospitality of both Kurt and Lisa. Our room was very comfy and warm. We had a lovely experience at their restaurant Friday night; both Kurt and Lisa embraced us all during my birthday meal. The food was also delicious."

"The property has a fabulous view of the mountains which were resplendent with fall foliage colors."

"one bedroom suite was very nice and spacious. The heat and hot water were great. Upstairs occupants could be heard but they were quiet after 10 pm. Access into the apt was easy. Apt needs a deep clean and dusting. The night stand in the bedroom does not reach the bed height. Only 1 tv but we moved it and it worked fine in the bedroom. The queen size bed was very comfortable. Close to supermarket, CVS, restaurants, shops and of course skiing."

"This place is in one of the nicest places in the Catskills close to a number of hiking trails. Very efficient utilization of living space and lots of open space to play and do other activities. Good office where you can get a number of games to play. Very prompt service from the host. Few utensils can be added to the kitchen."

"24 hours prior to check in (4 pm), I messaged the host to ask how we check in. No response. We had no trouble locating the property, but once there, we could not get in. The door was locked. There was no key. There was a lock box, but no code was provided. There is no cell reception at the property. We left to message the host for more info. Eventually, the host responded by sending us the address. but no acknowledgement about how to enter the cabin. We returned to the property again around 9 pm...

Enchanting Red Barn

"My wife and I have never stayed at a place that had so much character. It was simply charming. Quiet, peaceful, quirky, bright, cozy. Our gracious host has put so much love into this little barn and you can feel it as soon as you step in the door. We stayed four nights and were constantly surprised by all the charming details. I wish we were still there!"

"My cousins and siblings had a great time from start to finish. The house was very comfortable with multiple places to relax. We had a large group and never felt short for space. All bedrooms were well furnished. The amazing kitchen was perfect for making our large family dinners. The area around the house offered beautiful scenery and nice options for when we wanted to go out. Highly recommend this property and host (Mella)"

Perfect Girls Weekend Getaway

"Birch Creek Mountain house is such an amazing place to stay. We had 6 ladies for a much needed girls weekend. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful. We were all so comfortable as the house was clean, had plenty of space, Comfortable beds and sitting areas. We made a fire the first night inside and the second night outside by the creek. We played Amy Winehouse and Blondi on the cute little Victrola. We had our morning coffee outside on the back deck. Would say the only drawback was the road noise on rt 28. Luckily it’s not as busy as some downstate streets and will definitely not deter us from booking again. The house is also in a perfect location close to a lot of things to do. Thanks Jennifer for sharing your home. "
