"Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."

Tout peut être fait à pied Son emplacement nous a permis de visiter les environs sans faire trop de km . Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et à l’écoute. Je recommande vivement cette location."

"Nous avions réservé les lieux à l’occasion de l’anniversaire de notre grand-mère. Toute la famille était donc réunie, nous étions 15. La description de l’endroit était bien conforme à la réalité. Nous avions l’espace nécessaire et amplement suffisant pour nous tous. Christophe et Corinne sont vraiment supers sympas ! Disponibles mais pas intrusifs ! "We had a really good stay and found the accommodation extremely good with the single exception of parking - this is complicated and not free (unless you want a 20 minute walk to your car) but, given how central it is, close to the square, shops and restaurants, this wasn't a problem. There are lots of great walks and a trip on the railway is a must! The owners have prepared a very detailed and comprehensive set of guides, so everyone will find something they like. Highly recommended."

And most of the place we visited were only 30 mins drive away. Abbevile close with great train links to Paris where we spent a great day and Amiens just over an hour drive Was about 1 hour 30 mins drive to visit the world war 1 memorial sites, well worth the drive.
