"We all thoroughly enjoyed this gite for 1 week. It is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We loved the barn with table tennis and table football. "What a lovely property! Lots of space. We were a big family group, mixed ages. The pool was a god send as the weather was tres chaud! Beautiful sunsets. The place was very well equipped. Didn’t use the Moroccan room as it was just too hot for us. The owner was very communicative and helpful to my queries. Nothing was too much trouble. Really nice to receive some wine and coffee on arrival too. If there isn’t any use for the yoga room anymore than that room would be amazing as a family room...

"A traditional French country house, clean and tidy with good facilities. Bikes were helpfully left at the house for us to use. We enjoyed the table tennis table, darts etc on our evenings in. We sadly didn't have very good weather but the garden area, pool etc would be great in the sun. Montboyer is very quiet but the local restaurant and bakery are worth visiting. The house is in a good location for exploring, we loved Aubeterre and Brantome and also had a great day in Cognac."

"This lovely rural farmhouse provided plenty of space for our extended family of 6 adults and 3 children (aged 13, 4 and <2) to spend a relaxing week in a more peaceful area of the Dordogne. "We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....
