"Hotel Lorette was a superb choice for our visit to Paris. It is located in the Saint George district just 15 minutes bus ride from Gare du Nord (line 43) and the Saint George metro is about 1 minute walk away. The location has great public connections by bus and metro to most tourist sights and some are no more than 15 minutes walk away. We booked a superior double which was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. The buffet breakfast is superb with so many options and worth the supplement. There is also an excellent complimentary drink and snack service in the lounge which is a great touch. The staff were always polite and helpful and all deserve some credit for making our stay enjoyable. Just as a footnote, a nearby bistro, Le Bon George has just featured on the BBC and is definitely worth visiting for lunch or dinner. "

"The staff were really welcoming and helpful. The rooms are a good size with good amenities and we had a nice Juliet balcony. You can hear the metro running regularly (we could hear it even on the 3rd floor) but you get used to it."
