"Lovely hotel situated on the edge of the town. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Had evening meal as an extra, very nice and reasonable priced. Breakfast was included and was plentiful. Rooms are decent sized, good showers. "

"The staff was extremely concerned with our well being and have offered a very nice commercial gesture to compensate for the lack of hot water in our room. Our room faced the city of Gien and the view was really great. One just have to walk accross a bridge to reach the interesting sidewalk with restaurants on the other side of the Loire. I prefer that view (Castle of Anne de Beaujeu) from the one the hotels on the other side of the rriver would have. Highly recommended hotel."

"I had a wonderful stay here, after a long motorcycle ride that started in Amsterdam. Being able to park my vehicle on the secured premises was one of the main reasons for choosing this accommodation, but luckily, everything else ended up being excellent too. "For a one night stay travelling through France it was OK. The hoetl is a bit 'tatty' but the room was clean and the bed comfotable, a good shower and the air conditioning in one of the rooms was brilliant. In the other room we had booked it wasn;t working an the hotel staff said they would try to get it fixed but nothing was sorted, or a change of room offered. "This hotel is very convenient for Briare train station with excellent trains into Paris daily. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds are lovely, with lots of parkland and trees."
