"We had a wonderful stay at the river property. Ruben and his wife were wonderful and took care of us, helping to make sure that we had lots of fun with various activities. The views are beautiful from the balconies. It is a warm humid environment but the fans help. Upstairs with king bed is cooler than downstato. We were able to see howler monkeys from the porch. "What can I say…. Finca Manglar was awesome! A remote oasis away from the crowds, that takes you into a completely relaxed environment. While there is internet access you won’t want to use it much. Step outside into the natural wonders that surround you! Our hosts (Luis/Ruth/Raquel) were such wonderful people who make you feel like part of their family. "This was a beautiful property off the beaten path. Exactly as described. Nothing better than waking up to the sounds of the jungle and the waves from the ocean. Despite being completely open to nature, the property was well kept and clean. The onsite staff kept to himself for the most part, but was very helpful when we had questions. "This home is gorgeous! The grounds are incredible, the views are stunning. We had daily visits from toucans and other beautiful birds and butterflies. We heard the monkeys but never saw them.
