"Aurelie was fantastic to deal with and really helpful with any queries and booking taxis for us etc. the house was absolutely stunning and the grounds were amazing with so many lemon, lime, fig, olive trees etc. So quiet - we were in our own Oasis! Will definitely be returning when we aren’t having to rush back & forth to Dance World Cup!"

"A truly relaxing property. Huge, beautiful gardens provided the most serene setting for sitting out under the olive trees. A large pool where you could really get your laps in and lemon and lime trees with an abundance of fruit to pick. The house was very traditional. Lots of space and a very quirky ground floor. The pictures on Vrbo don't do it justice. The hosts made us very welcome and were very flexible with checking in early. Response times were great as we got a bit lost trying to find the...

"We had a splendid stay. The house was just as described. All amenities described were provided. The owner, Filipe, is very responsive and helpful with any questions. We had no issues. We enjoyed the peacefulness yet close to town. As for the driveway from precious comments, yes it is steep, but we had no issues at all! We followed Felipe’s advice and we were fine."

"Pasamos una muy buena semana de Agosto a pesar del calor. Por la noche refresca bastante A tener en cuenta el ruido de la carretera pegada a la casa, muy transitada, y los ladridos de los perros de las casas de la zona toda la noche... Y de mañana,los gallos... La piscina es un deposito de agua dulce no tratada pero perfectamente utilizable,y ademas muy fresca El jardín, de lujo"

"We just returned from a perfect family break at the Pool House, which is a peaceful retreat with stunning valley views. It’s well-equipped and perfect for relaxing by the pool after exploring nearby Porto, Braga, and Guimarães. Fresh bread delivered daily adds a lovely touch. The host, Virginia, is warm and welcoming, offering helpful local tips. The serene setting and excellent location make it ideal for a relaxing stay with easy access to local attractions. 100% recommended!"

"The views from this place of the mountains were spectacular. Very quiet and peaceful. The above ground pool was welcome in the heat wave. Large fridge was handy. Lots of fruit trees in the yard and no mosquitoes in August! The neighbourhood is very traditional, including very narrow roads with stone walls on the way in. If you have a large car, you'll have to pull the mirrors in and hope you don't meet another car. There is a good pizza shop within walking distance and a beautiful bar that...

"This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."
