"Staff is friendly but the property lacks in some basic amenities - such as hot water. Through out our stay, we didn't get warm water in our showers, even after repeated reminders. There was stinking smell in couple of rooms. Staff had to be repeatedly reminded to provide towels, soap etc. Honestly, we were over-charged for the service we were provided."

"The hotel has a lakeview but only from the roof top restaurant. If you want to be closer to the centre of Udaipur and the beautiful city palace then choose a different hotel. The Lake View Palace is opposite the Chunda Palace Hotel which is a 4*/5* hotel and every night I was staying at the Lake View there was a loud music event at the Chunda Palace which was very noisy. "It’s a beautiful property in a wonderful setting. So tranquil and beautiful. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The boat trip around the lake was a real pleasure.
