My family chose this place as home base for our week in Tuscany and it’s literally one of the most incredible places we have ever stayed- the building has an amazing history- the rooms were beautiful and furniture stunning- lots of hot water- very clean- high quality linens etc The breakfasts prepared by the owner were over the top good- and she always lefts many cakes- desserts and snacks for my family - as well as fruit- treats and drinks - there are many restaurants...

"This is a very large apartment in a 500 year old well maintained building. It is in the beautiful historic area. Do be aware that this is a VERY hilly area and you will have to walk up and down steep streets everywhere you go. That includes from the parking area. Cars are restricted from the area around the apartment without a permit. "

"Communication with owner excellent. Was able to drop bags at unit and then park car in space provided by hotel about a 10 minute walk down or up depending on direction. Apartment large and comfortable. Breakfast nice continental assortment. Owner helped with bags up 2 flights of stairs checking in. Excellent location. Every thing nearby. We would book again"

"Amazing small countryside hotel in Tuscany, a medieval 14th century castle like setting with 15 rooms, pool, and small lounge, friendly staff, with limited services, but wifi/ac worked, pool area was nice, as was the grounds, just off autostrata, minutes to grocery, casual dining, outlet mall and the views were of the stunning Tuscan countryside and mountain towns. If windows open, you would hear some traffic noise, but if closed it was peaceful, our only negative was the sign for the La Pia...
