The hotel overall is nice. Staff is pleasant. There were a few things that seemed old and in need of replacing such as the elevators, the showers tubs(had rusting underneath the bottom faucet), bottom faucet was wiggly, the windows were old and a bit difficult to open and close. The couch in the room was not clean, it had visible stains on it. However the room itself, the size, and the comfort was great. There was a little separate area for food and coffee, a cleverly disguised refrigerator(also needed renewing as the back freezer panel was crooked inside), a nice big desk for writing with a lamp and charging station, the couch area with a foot rest, and a pull out bed underneath it, which would be great if I had a second person with me. The bed was great, comfortable, had 4 pillows(for a King size bed) had two different kinds of lamps above the head area, one bigger wider light, and one for reading, there were black out curtains as well as roll down blinds which was great. The bathroom and sink were separate. There was a full body mirror in the room which was great to have. And the AC unit worked really well. Had a convenient fan mode which blew cool but not freezing air and kept the room feeling well ventilated. Breakfast was free, and had good options. There was complimentary tea and coffee at all times in the lounge area. The pool was very pleasant, not too warm since it wasn’t scorching hot when I was there. Ice stations around the hotel, and quick front desk service.
