"My first time staying here and I loved it, great accommodations with friendly staff who were happy to go above and beyond. I lucked out and got the room on sale which is typically out of my price point, however, after staying here I think its worth the extra cash. The breakfast isn't the best if I'm honest its still a solid 7/10 i just found better options outside the hotel. Ill be back to Blackwoods. "

"This hotel is close to anything you could want to do that is in this area of Thailand. Ignore the negative reviews none of them are true, I’m glad I didn’t cancel my reservation after reading them because I would have been missing out. My room didn’t have the best view of the bay/beach. But I was rarely in it. The food is great, breakfast was well worth the added charge. There are two pools, and they are both nice, clean, and the water is cold. A great place to escape the heat. It feels like an upscale place, or a mid to upper range place, but the price is still very affordable "
