"Loved staying in the Bright carriage house. Perfect size for us and great location. Had everything we needed. Hosts were exceptional and went out of their way to accommodate us. If you are in the area, please consider this unit or the Ganister House next door. You will be hard pressed to find better accommodations!"

"Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day."

"This is a remodeled small home up against a mountain near the river. Serene view of water from porch. Right next to a 2 lane road. Can get some busy moments of automobiles. The owners do make efforts to provide a comfortable stay with linens, hair dryers, soaps, signage, tv. All noted in listing. Very easy to communicate with them. "

"This is a very charming, authentic log cabin. It has been lovingly cared for and has all of the comforts of home. The immense logs and wide plank floors, hand-made cabinets and doors, speak of an era long gone, but a joy to visit. It is not for those looking for the Ritz, but it is a masterpiece in its own way."

"My son and I crashed here after a PennState game. It was a perfect little tucked away stay to cap an energetic day with a quiet and comfy night of sleep. The place was adorable and so clean!! And Judy was a dear when we couldn’t find the code after midnight to get in!!"

"The owners were excellent hosts. Great value for the price. Located in nice neighborhood. Loved the rustic wood floor and antiques. Clean and warm. Owners kept the kitchen stocked with tea and coffee. Very “homey” feel. The open bathroom wasn’t a big issue for us since we stayed with family. Less expensive than any other hotels in the area, especially on a game weekend."
