They were warm, attentive, and especially welcoming to our children, treating them with genuine care and friendliness that made the evening feel even more special. Our room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, with a lovely view of the port and a bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore Calais on foot, and we appreciated how relaxing everything felt after a day of travel. While it may not be a luxury destination, the Holiday Inn in Calais delivers exactly what a traveler needs—comfort, kindness, and a few unexpected delights. We would absolutely stay here again."

"4 night stay in late February. We booked a 2 bed apartment( 1 double and small room with bunk beds). Had corner balcony overlooking the Liane river towards town. Heating worked a treat intact had to open windows to cool down. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, resolved an issue with broken hair dryer swiftly. Booked parking for our stay in the underground car park belonging to Evancy. Checkout is usually 10.00 but we paid the extra to extend until 14.00. deposit taken on arrival was back in my account by the evening of our return home. Apartment is a15 min stroll into main shopping/ restaurant area. A longer steep uphill trek to the walled town ( approximately steady 30 mins."
