"This was my second visit to Edinburgh and my first stay at the Apex Waterloo and I loved it! The hotel is well situated in the center of the city and close to all the major attractions. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff are very welcoming and sweet. The sauna, steam room and pool are terrific. And I booked a room with a tub large enough for two people and it was a lovely treat! I highly recommend Apex Waterloo for a fantastic stay! "

"Some dirty towels in bathroom and pool water not great quality. Was offered take away breakfast as leaving before breakfast started. It contained stale pastries and fizzy water and absolutely rotten apple. But otherwise hotel was nice. Rooms spacious"

"Very good staff. They made us aware of the breakfast special (which was a good deal!), and would have arranged for a late check-out but instead we checked our bags. There was a little bleed-through noise from neighbors, and the beds were firm."
