We rented 2 rooms, and they both had a funny smell - they were clean, but just smelled off so we kept the windows cracked at all times. Friendly staff, quiet location and within easy access to Berlin and surrounds with rental car as well as public transportation. Nice array of restaurants in close proximity of the hotel.
