"The property is nice. Lots of games are provided to entertain the kids and adults. Air hockey and Mortal Combat were big hits.The location is a one-minute drive from the entrance to Starved Rock and four minutes from Matthiessen State Park. The trail entrance to the St. Louis Waterfall Trail is right across the street if you want a quick hike. Or you could take that trail and hike to the St. Louis visitor's center.Everything was clean, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit....

"I stayed here on a short trip with a friend's family. The exterior was lovely, and the interior had a nice atmosphere so that the children were happy the moment they opened the door. But more than that, the most comfortable thing was that even though we sent the owner many questions before staying, they were all answered so nicely. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity."

It was great for “cousin camp.“ The nearby parks and towns were easy to get to and explore. The host was very easy to communicate with, if needed."

"Great little place. We stayed early in the week to hike starved rock so there was not a lot of action in the resort. We were a little bummed the blind wouldn’t stay up in the loft and there was no needle on the record player. That’s not enough to keep me from giving it a good review though. Would stay again. "

"Beautiful home and stay. Felt like they owners thought of everything.Everything was clean. We did find a toe nail and a used Qtip on the ground. But other then that is was a beautiful few days. We walked on the trails and went back to a cozy, tiny home. :)"
