"This is a lovely, older home with a gorgeous view of the Monastery. It is a very short walk into the town (although down a very, very steep hill) where you can get coffee and fresh bread. The pool in the backyard was the perfect place to cool down in after an adventure to Nazaré (15-20 minute drive) or other Portugal sights. The house was spacious with lots of rooms for the six of us to enjoy. We especially liked having meals on the back porch with the views. It was helpful having a driveway to...

"This new renovated property was lovely for a four day stay. There is lots of room indoors as well as outside for the kids. We enjoyed the fire in the lounge and were glad of the blankets and radiators in the bedrooms which made a cozy stay when the weather wasn’t very good. We had good day trips to Tomar, Fatima and Batalha. We would come back again in the summer to make good use of the pool and veranda."

I was a little confused at times who I should be communicating with regarding property issues and we had some miscommunications but they were accommodating and understanding with our special circumstances. Fantastic place. Beautifully decorated. The neighbors were awesome and welcoming since we stayed for over a month."
