The short but steep walk down to the beach was excellent challenge to the fitness of the older members of the party. "We stayed at Villa Foz for nine nights, there were 10 of us ranging in age from 2- 65. I would say a car is essential as everything is at least a 10 minute drive away with the bigger supermarkets being about 15 minutes away.
