"This is the second stay and it was as enjoyable as the first. Despite the resort being quite busy, the rooms were quiet. It was terrific to have undercover parking close by, what with the ongoing rain. The pools were great and uncrowded and the area was well lit at night so it felt safe to walk around.The units are well appointed with everything you need, and it was lovely to have a balcony with a view. Staff were helpful, courteous and friendly.The guests were kindly and behaved responsibly and respectfully. The place has a nice feel."

"Smaller studio hotel room but great service, staff and modern facilities. Parking was easy to organise on site, in an open area parking lot. Breakfast included ， was basic but served buffet style, limited choices but baked beans were so tasty !!! Pool in the 8th floor is a lovely oasis away from the buzz. Gym is tiny but still available 24/7. Beds are comfy, shower has great pressure and able to control airflow in room, not too cold. Our room has general sound proofing on level 2."

"Essence is a beautiful new high-quality property in the heart of Peregian Beach. I was originally booked into a lovely, spacious double room with a balcony overlooking the biosphere before being upgraded to a two room apartment with full kitchen and laundry facilities and a large balcony overlooking the biosphere. The rooms are all spacious with top quality fittings and fixtures. Beds are very comfortable and a range of different pillows are provided. Evening turn down with handmade chocolates was a nice surprise and a courtesy bottle of sparkling wine on the first day was a lovely touch. Undercover parking is available. There are two heated pools (one with a bar) with beds and umbrellas to choose from and these are nice even though the white sandy Peregian Beach is just few minutes walk away. The boutique shopping nearby offers a wide range of gifts and fashion items and there are pubs, cafes, pizza and fine dining options. There is a surf club, skate park for kids and parks near the beach too. If you want peace and quiet and a chance to unwind then Essence Boutique Hotel itself is a lovely place to do this."

"We were very happy with the only problem . Thought it was lovely . Only two things I would mention is a couple of bigger drinking mugs would have been great and we had trouble getting out of the garage. First time fortunately a car entering made our escape pissible and upon leaving for the last time after waiting for a while it eventually opened."

"Great location and with the underground car park was a blessing!! We had a studio and it was a great size and didnt feel like a studio, bathroom was very big aswell and with the spa on the roof terrace and swimming pool and jacuzzi aswell made it great place to stay!!"

"Property wasn’t cleaned properly Kitchen had a very bad smell and even the utensils Dishwasher was not working and it was very smelly. "
