"The property was clean and spacious and well priced for the area, but would have benefitted from a map on booking as it had no signage and was difficult to find and as an apartment had no staff in the building. Also no tea or coffee, which could have been made clear on booking"

"We’re staying here twice this trip. The day we arrive by plane and the night from Venice before we rent the car to go north. It is a good place for this transition. Nice beds. Curtains that block the light. Easy to find. Great staff. A few blocks from the Mestre airport bus stop & train station. Just what we need."

"Our stay in Venice was an adventure from the start! The hotel is tucked away deep in the historic Jewish neighborhood, which makes it difficult to find at first. Thankfully, the locals were incredibly helpful—even though many didn’t know where the hotel was, they still helped us navigate to it. "Location is very ideal. Close to San Marco piazza and Rialto bridge. Tons of places to eat close by. Located in a quiet discreet alley way (calle) . Appartment was spacious with a separate sitting area, dinette and sofa from the bedroom. Super clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again "

"We really loved our stay at Antico Portego and we wish we had stayed longer! The room 'Venere' was very clean and large with a great bathroom and shower. The location was perfect for our 12km+ hike around Venice! It was very nice to come back to a comfortable room. "Love the place , really jn the centre of venice , near the canal & all . Room is cute & cozy , the only thing we didnt like was - there was no lift , and our room was in the 3rd floor ; quite hard to walk up after a long day . We’re on for 1Night only , so it’s fine . "

"Close to the train station which means less dragging bags over bridges, but a longer walk to San Marco. Decent food in the area and easy access to the water bus. They were super helpful when we had to stay for two extra night. Room was cold so do bring layers. "

"It’s been a few months since we returned from beautiful, unforgettable Italy! 🇮🇹 My heart is aching to go back. In the spirit of reminiscing, I wanted to be sure to leave a review for the enchanting A’la hotel we stayed at. I took my 4 children and their significant others on the trip of a lifetime, to Venice, Rome, Tuscany Umbria, and lastly Cortona. We loved every minute of our time in Venice, and I can attribute much of our happy vacationing to the staff at A’la Hotel Venezia! They really were remarkable people. In the few short days we were in Venice, we were made to feel like family, or honored guests. The hotel is rustic and was surely a jewel when it was new. Don’t expect all the conveniences of American hotels. It does lack a few of the conveniences Americans are accustomed to, such as a refrigerator in the room. The staff at A’la Hotels Venezia were warm and welcoming. Our experience in Venice ands with this. Hotel is one example of how beautiful Italy is and always has been! We can’t wait to visit a’la Hotels Venezia again! Just be sure to know which hotel you’re staying at or you will quickly anger the taxi captain! 👨‍✈️﫤 Izzy Y. Ann Arbor, MI"
