The only drawback is we had the attic apartment which has a (locked) door leading to the apartment below and from there you can hear every single conversion of the occupants and use of the kitchen. "I was rather concerned about the practice that the access code for the lock is sent out only at 3pm on the arrival day; for travelers without cellular service in Italy that is a worry, but we had wifi on the train, so everything worked out well. "Venice was great! We loved the location of this property. Close to train station so we could walk. Great to be a little bit away from the crowds but easy enough to walk to the main part of town. Restaurants in the area were also great so we didn’t have to be down by Rialto Bridge are late. Apartment was clean and the property owner was very helpful. I would suggest it to anyone!"

"The host communicated well and met us at the boat station upon arrival. She showed us where the grocery store was and suggested some things to do. The location was very central and everything was accessible by foot. The apartment was clean and spacious. We were 6 people so it was a bit tight but manageable. My only complaint would be that upstairs was a bit warm because the AC was on the main floor. The fan provided helped but if you are a naturally warm person it may be uncomfortable. ...

"We had the most incredible time at our stay here. The host was amazing, personally greeted us as we arrive and gave us a tour. He was also available anytime we had a question. "We loved staying here. The doors opening onto the canal were a real treat. I saw reviews complaining about the smell, but we had no issues whatsoever. You are staying on the canal - of course it will smell like water! If you follow the directions you are given to the property, you will not get lost (do not use Google maps, just use the directions you are given). We would recommend this property 100 times over. We genuinely loved it!"
