"Location was great. Right in the middle of the city center, 15min walk to popular beaches, 20min walk to train station. The place was old but it is in an old area so it was to be expected. I had a twin room to myself and it was in the top floor and it had a balcony. Pretty good! Staff was friendly. Had an issue with a key for one of the doors and someone came within 10mins to help me (outside business hours). "You must have breakfast at the hotel. Fresh, wholesome, delicious! Plenty to eat. We’ve stayed at a number of hotels in Europe, this is our favourite. The staff is exceptional! The rooms are well appointed. The balconies are large and the views are great! Will definitely recommend it to our friends!"

"Great hotel overall. We stayed a week in February in a room with ocean view. The room had a nice view and good size. Breakfast was delicious. Indoor pool was always warm and gym was well equipped. The spa is great too. The beach is one of the nicest in Portugal. While there are several restaurants nearby, there's not too much variation and food is relatively expensive. Would definitely stay again."
