"This was our second time staying at Bob and Terri’s cozy home atop the hill and it was just as amazing as the first stay. It was a quick trip for us but was comforting knowing exactly what our stay would be like and that everything we could need to have a comfortable stay was already in place. The hosts even treated us to Lancaster made whoopie pies, special homemade breads and granola bars. It even smelled so clean and welcoming when we walked in and there were vacuuming lines on the carpets...

"Excellent property! Easy access location. Close to gas, coffee, grocery, attractions. House was impeccably well maintained and clean. Fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots & pans, coffee pot and even a crock pot! Laundry was a huge plus. Swing set in the back was a great perk! "

"This was a great place to stay overlooking the Susquehanna! Brian and his mom were wonderful to work with, and I so appreciated them sharing some of their knowledge of Pequea with me. I loved watching the eagles in the trees right next to the house and the ever-changing clouds and light on the river! My favorite hiking trail is up the street. I enjoyed the trains going by, too. It was all together a relaxing and enjoyable weekend and I hope to go back soon!"

"This was a wonderful place for Mom & 4 grown daughters to stay for a Girls Weekend! We bring food for our own meals and prefer to stay IN the entire weekend, talking and playing games. So it was very appreciated that the kitchen is well stocked for meal prep, and all manner of paper products and soap products are on hand. "This was our 3rd time staying at the beautiful Spring Acre Log Cabin. We absolutely love staying at this property. The property accommodated our family of 8 with no problem. The owner, Ken, is a perfect host. He treats us like old family friends. We will be back again very soon !"

"We decided to rent this place as a surprise get away for husbands bday, house nicely restored, wood fllors charming but they do creek and in some places are missing, bed comfy, kitchen well appointed, towels soft, couch is ok, TV’s are good, easy door access. Hosts fast responders. We were initially intimidated by the neighborhood, worried about car safety was reassured by hosts it is safe. Opted to use close by parking garage which was convenient. "This was perfect for our party of 4 (myself and husband and my mom and dad). We live in the same town, but drove out separately because of work schedules. There was enough to park both of our vehicles in the parking space. The two bedrooms/bathrooms are at opposite ends of the home, so there is a nice level of privacy. We had breakfast both mornings with a full sausage, eggs, bagels, and pancakes breakfast we brought with us. Everything to cook is there. Nice selection of coffee and tea...

"We enjoyed our short stay here. We had room for the 5 children to roam on the playground or in the playroom with the pool table and/or adult time too in the private hot tub setting and/or building a nice fire in the firepit. This quaint home has what you need to keep everybody busy doing something. We also had fun playing board games together. Nice accommodations and close to Sight and Sound Theatre."

"This house was perfect for our family. We stayed Feb 2025, 15 family members. Plenty of room for all. House was immaculate and well stocked - plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. Everyone's favorite was the coffee nook - regular coffee pot, Kerig, plenty of coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. I had to call the host twice while we were there with basic questions - she got back to me right away and was very sweet. Would definitely stay there again. "
