"A beautiful inn, stunning setting. Room more than adequate but needed a little "TLC" - paintwork chipped in places, couple of cobwebs (soon removed), lighting very poor but possibly because of low-wattage light bulbs. Beds extremely comfortable, lovely bed-linen. Unfortunately, due to a sudden (very) cold snap in the weather, the room was quite cold and the radiator insufficient to warm the large room and sitting area. The staff quickly rectified this by providing a mobile heater. Good evening...

"Great stay , comfortable room.. i would suggest the family room would have been better placed into the double and single bed room as there room has much more space and with 1 double 1 single in there seemed alot of space wasted .. no window to open in the family room , with 4 people in there an open window would be great. The fire exit green light in the bedroom is WAY to bright. Overall lovely decor , clean room , friendly staff.. Thank you "

"We love the Erskine Arms and have visited several times in the past few years. The rooms are very comfortable with nice beds and great showers. Some rooms lack storage however. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The bar area is great but can get busy with people eating there early evening. The food for both breakfast and dinner is excellent with a lovely varied menu. The hotel overall is very comfortable and friendly with a good atmosphere. Unfortunately parking is limited and the church...

"Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "

"A friendly welcome from the host. He went out of his way to book us an alternative evening meal and taxi as the restaurant was booked up that day. Room was as expected. Breakfast was good and a good choice available all with friendly service. "
