"Beautifully renovated cottage that offered easy access to fulfill needs of our visit without having to rent a car with its attendant frightening UK driving. We loved the hand hewn exposed wooden beams. The only downside for us was street side loud vocalizations by apparently drunken pedestrians that occasionally kept us awake at night."

"Loads of room for everyone to have their own space. The kids loved the games room and hot tub. The nook in the garden is gorgeous and great for games night - watch out for the slippery decking though (when wet). It’s got everything you need and is great for pets. Would stay again."

"The property was extremely clean and spacious downstairs. The lounge had a large toy corner which was wonderful for our 3 year old grandson. Upstairs was lovely but bedrooms were a bit cramped. Being winter we all had large warm jackets and it would have been useful to have a coat stand or hooks in the hall. We had to drape them over the kitchen chairs. Overall a very pleasant property. "

"Set in isolated rural village with lovely views and walks. Our vist was marred by horrendous wet weather,but we made the best of it. Mark and Madeline were lovely people who made us welcome and dealt with any issues and gave advice about the area."

"The cottage was dirty, the kitchen smelt of grease and all the pots where dirty. It smelt very fusty like it had been left unused for a long time. Beds where very uncomfortable, my wife described it as the worst nights sleep she has ever had. None of my kids could sleep either. Left after the first night and had to spend more money to stay somewhere. When I mentioned all this to the host they completely ignored me and stopped responding to my messages."

"Lovely little lodge with lots of sweet extra touches like fairy lights, a cosy fireplace and outdoor bath. The fully enclosed, large garden is ideal for dogs and children, with beautiful views from every angle. Lovely to see horses and cows so close. Jon is an excellent and very friendly host. We were looked after very well, whilst left in privacy as a family. The King size bed was very comfortable and the other room had 2 single beds in, plus the lounge has a double sofa bed, so you could...
