Serenity Zen House on Seneca Lake - Now with Town Water

The Serenity Zen House is uniquely perched overlooking Seneca Lake. This is the ideal spot for a get-away in the Finger Lakes. There are several excellent wineries within a mile of the house and it is close to all the Finger Lakes attractions. Great for families, couples and groups just looking to get away for a few days of fun. Only 10 minutes from Hobart and William Smith.

There is a large kitchen overlooking the lake. The living room has a gas burning fireplace with a cathedral ceiling and a gorgeous view of the lake.

The master suite features a king size bed and provides an unsurpassed views over the lake. There is a queen size bed in each of the other two guest rooms. Roll-away beds are also available.

There are two modern baths with a tub/shower in the guest bath and a large shower with seat in the master bath.

There is a private beach with access down a set of stairs and the beach has a gentle slope into the lake for wading and swimming.

Located on a town road the home is very easy to access and is conveniently located just 10 miles south of Geneva and 25 miles north of Watkins Glen in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine region.

The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. It was a couples retreat so one couple had a bigger room/bed than the other but it still worked out well. Beautiful deck and lake views. The owner had a quick response and was very friendly. If definitely recommend this house!

Perfect Location
Our family of 6 adults and 1 child enjoyed our week at Serenity Zen House. Location is perfect for visiting lots of wineries. Huge deck is perfect for morning coffee, wine & cocktails in evening and dining. We enjoyed using the grill, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Wegman's in Geneva is only 20 minutes away.

My husband and I met up with my sister and her husband for a trip to Upstate and the lakes. Great location on Seneca Lake. House was perfect size, great lake views, decks and a boat dock. Loved all the mini fireplaces throughout the home. Well equipped kitchen. If we get to repeat this trip we would stay here again!

A stunning and serene place to stay
My family and I absolutely loved our stay at the "Serenity Zen House". the house itself is open and inviting and the views from the 2 decks and the dock are unmatched. Also, the location of the house was perfect- we were easily able to drive to Watkins Glen and easily explore the many surrounding vineyards, breweries and local eateries. Finally James is wonderful to work with!

Beautiful Lakeside Retreat
My entire party, including the four-legged friends who traveled with us, had a terrific stay at the Serenity Zen House. It was everything described and more. We thoroughly enjoyed the home and it's outdoor amenities as well as the entire Finger Lakes region. James was a terrific host and the check-in/check-out process was very easy. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back. What a gem this lake house was…waking up to the sunrise on the lake makes for a beautiful day. Loved the numerous decks to hang out on and the beach. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time there as well as our dog Zeus. Jim is an amazing host!!! I had to have emergency surgery and Jim was extremely helpful and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back!!!

It was our first visit to the Finger Lakes region and we will definitely return! The location of Serenity Zen house was perfect with quiet neighborhood and amazing views of the lake. The four of us enjoyed coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise and also sat on the dock to absorb the beauty of the lake. The owner, Jim was easy to communicate with and answered any questions in a timely manner. The house was very clean and inviting. Hiking trails and wineries were close by and we had fun exploring them. Overall, it was a very positive experience!

Perfect lake house in perfect location
This house had everything we needed for a perfect week! Close to everything. Super clean, swimming, kayaks at house. Very quiet area despite being here for July 4th. Owner close-by, a plus. Only issue is that we could have used another week to unwind and get to everything on our list. Our Boxer Leo, amd my daughters parrot Gryffin loved it as well. Thank you Jim for this great house!

The home was perfect for our needs. My husband and I came a day earlier then our 18 and 20 year old sons joined us. We all enjoyed our stay. We brought kayaks but the home had 2. The views of the lake were breathtaking. We really enjoyed our stay and Jim, Property Manager, made sure we knew he was available if needed. He lives on the same street. We are knew to VRBO and was happy with our choice!

Winter stay on Seneca Lake
The house was beautiful, modern, and clean. The views of the lake were spectacular! The host Jim was very hospitable, even shoveling snow from the driveway on our second day. We basically arrived in a blizzard and were blown away to open the door to the gas fireplace already going. The house was pretty much completely renovated a couple of years ago. Though I am giving 5 stars, I would have enjoyed my stay more if there had been Wifi.

Can't wait to go back!
We were very happy with the house (just as described and pictured) and the location can't be beat. Jim was very friendly and a great communicator along the way. We took his recommendation on the fishing trip with Roy's Boys Charter and caught lots of fish! The house was clean and well stocked with supplies and cooking items. Loved watching the sunrise every morning on the deck, overlooking the lake. Great for our family of four and our dog! We loved the area too, our first time in the Finger Lakes - Watkins Glen should not be missed - amazing. Explored and enjoyed many wineries that were close by. Kemmeter, 4 min. away was definitely a highlight! Kids and I loved the kayaks (make sure you wear a life jacket). We enjoyed a fire on the beach one night. Close to Geneva for groceries and a few restaurants. We all had an amazing vacation and can't wait to do it again!!

Relaxing home on Lake Seneca
We had another great stay at Serenity Zen House! We look forward to this stay every year! The 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths allow it to be a perfect setup for traveling with the in-laws. The large dock, pebble beach with several feet of shallow water, and large back deck are our favorite things about this location. The view that this home offers is absolutely gorgeous! The beds are comfortable and the showers are hot and have great water pressure. The kids spend most of their time kayaking and the train passing by the home is something we all have grown to look forward to, even though at first it was quite surprising and unexpected. We always bring our dog and appreciate that the back deck is gated so she stays contained. The street where this home is located is quiet and we all enjoy going for walks along it. There are 2 wineries within walking distance, Red Tail Ridge Winery, if you walk up and cross Rt14, and Seneca Shore Wine Cellars, if you walk down the street to the dead end and cross the railroad tracks, then proceed up the hill. We are looking forward already to our stay next year!
