2 Bedrooms (upstairs), 1 Queen Bed, 1 Full Bed and a Couch (downstairs). Kitchen, Dining Room, Bathroom and Living Room, with a fireplace. Flat screen TV, No Wi-Fi, cell reception is not a problem. Dish Network, Campfire, Picnic Table, Charcoal Grill, Large Yard for enjoying the outdoors. Hiking Trails. You are in walking distance to the Keuka Outlet Trail. You are a 5 Minute drive from downtown Penn Yan, NY. Please bring your own linens, bedding. At this time they will NOT be provided.

Quiet, charming Cabin in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine region. Close proximity to Outlet Trail, Downtown Penn Yan, Wineries, Brewery's , Keuka Lake . Enjoy an evening campfire in this spacious backyard while the kids enjoy roasting marshmallows or running around being kids.
Beautiful country setting. Less than 2 miles from Village of Penn Yan. I would recommend bringing your own drinking water as this property is a well. If you are not use to well water the taste can be unpleasant.

Mom and Daughters Weekend
Myself and 3 adult daughters spent a long weekend at Teresa’s house. Very cute place. Plenty of room for us all to move about comfortably. Plenty of seating, and fairly well appointed. The property itself is in a beautiful location. There are neighbors nearby , but it still feels very private. We would definitely stay again!

What a gem !
What a great place ! Perfect size for a small get away . Close to everything , even close enough to town to have food delivered ! The wineries in the area were amazing . Would recommend and would go back again !

Perfect setup and surroundings
Great sized cabin for your family or friends. Even in February, the woods and raviones are so nice to gaze at. I hope to return in the summertime to really enjoy the spacious yard, fire pit, and grill. It was really nice feeling remote, but are able to quickly roll into the town of Penn Yan or Geneva from here. Everything is comfy and will suit you just right. Birthday wine trip
Cozy little place. We only slept there. I went to the wineries during the day. It was a cold weekend, it always seemed a little chilly downstairs because of it.

Cute and quaint.
Mostly enjoyed our short stay at this cute, quaint cabin. I say “mostly” because on our last night, several dogs were barking well past midnight. This is no reflection on the owner but not the peaceful night rest we had hoped before a long drive home. The owner was very accommodating and responsive to questions.

Great place for a mini get away.
The water was well water. If you are a water snob, like myself, bring your own water. Stairs to the second level is to be expected. Maybe a couple more chairs in the living room. The place was clean and everything we needed for the weekend!

Quiet Retreat
We loved the quiet retreat of this cabin, unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with our plans as it rained each day. I do wish that there was more seating in the living room area there were 4 people and we had to move a chair from the dinning room to seat us in the living room.

Very satisfied!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin and wooded surroundings. It was a great base point for day trips to Watkins Glen State Park and Ithaca while we were there. Each time enjoyed returning to this "little house in the woods" which provided us comfort and quiet. Air conditioning and ceiling fans kept us very content as the temperature climbed during the day. Be sure to bring your own water for drinking, as the well water was a little off-putting. Will need to bring your own sheets and pillows. Other than that, we had everything we needed and then some!

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your cabin, it's was very nice, and was perfect for the trip. I was a little disappointed that the washer, and dryer were not available? As we brought a small amount of clothes thinking we would be able to clean them. It did need cleaning when we arrived, but not bad. Thank you again. Bari James

Not as advertised but has potential
I was very much looking forward to our stay here but unfortunately, the house did not have air conditioning as advertised and the warm Summer weather made the house unreasonably hot and not suitable for us to sleep with our two young children. Despite being out the money for the rental and the subsequent hotel stay due to the owner’s decision not to refund our stay, I think this place has a lot of potential and with some changes it could be an incredible place.

The house was very nice and clean. It is great for a long weekend getaway. Couple of things that would have helped. 1. There is what I consider a hidden fee. Once I decided on the house and proceed it said I need to have insurance which was not listed when you look at the at the cost breakdown. So, either I took the insurance or paid lump sum to be reimbursed in 6 weeks if everything was ok. So, I took the insurance which add a lot more to the total cost. This is something that should be list in your cost breakdown. If I had the time I would have keep looking. 2. A bath math for when you get out of the shower, floor was slippery. 3. Instruction on how to work the heater and what to do with the trash would have been nice. Besides the above, I am glad I stay here it was relaxing and peaceful, just what I needed.

Wonderful stay!
My husband and I and another couple stayed at the Keuka Hydaway Cabin the last weekend of September. Communication with Teresa was great - she was available immediately to answer any questions we had. The cabin is certainly not "glamorous" but that's not what we expected given the fact it's a cabin and after looking at the photos. Yes, the water is very hard but that didn't bother us much. We all took showers and our hair didn't "turn colors" (as another reviewer said theirs did). Definitely brought water to drink but we usually do that anyway! The location could NOT be any better! The cabin is just outside of Penn Yan and it didn't take any time at all to go into town to eat or to launch our friend's boat. Plus the setting is simply gorgeous! Beds were comfortable. The only negative is that it would be nice to have more seating in the living room - there's only a small couch and since there were four of us it was awkward when we tried to sit inside to visit. We had to move 2 chairs from the dining area (which were not comfortable to sit on for very long). But I won't take off any points for that because we really did enjoy our stay and are planning a return visit next year! Thanks for your hospitality, Teresa!

It's the best price in the area
We needed to attend a wedding in the area. This is the most cost effective option. Two adult couples were able to stay here with a reasonable amount of comfort. The seating options from previous reviews have been fixed. There was plenty of seating for 4 adults. Honestly for the price in the area this is ideal. It was a quick easy trip into penn yan. We just needed a place to sleep we were busy everyday. We were able to get ready for a wedding with two women fairly well. Your packing list needs to include: sheets pillow cases comforter (we brought quilts to reduce bulk) towels washcloths bathroom floor mat and we brought 5 gallons of water for a 3 day stay. We used the water for coffee ice cubes and iced tea. The mattress in the larger bedroom is comfortable not overly firm. The mattress in the second bedroom is very firm. The ac wasn't installed in the bedrooms and the ac downstairs doesn't reach the bedrooms. We brought fans with us so we were okay. There is no fan in the 2nd bedroom. The fees on this place are not overinflated. I think the owners are very fair. The property doesn't have laundry and so I think it's fair that you need to bring in and take your own laundry. It also reduces the cleaning fee I'm sure. We felt this was perfect for a three night stay. We're very grateful for having found affordable accomodation in such a high cost area.

Great Visit to Finger Lakes
Stayed with my wife for a little fall getaway. Property was nice and quiet. Has everything you would need. Even had a few deer visit us one morning. Close enough to both Keuka and Seneca Lakes, we happened to visit both. Checked out a few breweries. Also went to Watkins Glen State Park, recommended. Thank you to our hosts.

The cottage is adorable. The location is perfect as it provides privacy and a fire pit. Unfortunately, the well water is untreated and smells like copper. We did not take showers because of the smell but we had been warned about drinking the water.

It was a great stay! Will definitely be back. Only thing that wasnt awesome was that there was no address we could find and the gps says it is where 20 hydaway lane is. Im assuming you may own both and very intelligently draw people to the property to see who is going to be staying there(idk but id do that too lol). But in the dark, definitely a challenge to find. Thanks for a great stay!
