"We had an excellent stay here for 3 nights in February. The room, indoor pool, and restaurant were excellent. In particular, the restaurant menu was extensive and reasonably priced, making the decision to eat at the resort easy. "

"What an amazing hotel ! It's split into two halves, with the dining (and much more - chapel, art gallery, lovely rooms, including a games room!) in a separate building across the courtyard. If it's raining, there is a tunnel connecting the two! The breakfast was very good - the evening meal (we had half-board) was reasonably good, not outstanding. We couldn't use the large outdoor pool this time, but it's impressive. Our main comment is about the staff, who were very friendly and incredibly helpful when we had a medical issue in the early hours of the morning of Saturday 21st September. The night porter was very kind and went out of his way to help - we're very grateful. The local A&E is close, and they dealt with the problem very well. We'd recommend this hotel, and it was great value, especially the half-board option."

"Excellent holiday home for a group. Plenty of sitting areas. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of towels supplied. The home was very clean. Mattresses not the best. No mirrors in bedrooms. Internet extremely slow and not available in some areas of the house. Could have used more umbrellas for shade at the pool. A car is definitely a must. Very steep incline from town back up to villa. Town of Geres about 8 minute walk. Lots of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, gift shops, bus stop for Braga. About 20 min drive to sandy beach. Lots of great walking trails. Check in is late at 5pm and very early check out at10am, basically losing almost most of a day. Antonio and his family were very welcoming and were quick to return messages. Very good hosts. "
