"Lovely big house and setting for the family, just a couple of things which would have made it 5* could do with a few more chairs in the living room especially if you have 6 adults or teenagers with you. The floorboards upstairs were a little noisy. No electric kettle or toaster. Overall the house was clean and had most things we needed for our family holiday. "

Thankfully the owner of the property made our stay work after the booking agent hadnt informed her we were coming as she had no knowledge we were booked in."

"Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again."

"Wow...It such as lovely place. The garden was fantastic for the dog, the hot tub was a nice touch. Loads of nice places to visit locally, waterfalls, river, towns, etc. We will be coming back "

"The property is set in wonderful grounds and is well furnished. We had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. The fire in the lounge was a lovely focal point throughout the time we were there and we would love to return in summer when we could use the pool. Unfortunately Vrbo’s computer system did not appear to communicate with the property agent’s which led to various problems, including the property manager not knowing that we had paid the deposit. A phone call with the property agent easily...

"We stayed for a few days between christmas and new year and it was a lovely location, lots of lovely local villages and hikes, with a nice log fire to come home to. Hosts were very kind, helpful and gave lots of info on local area. "

"Enjoyable stay in traditional farmhouse on doorstep of the Forest of Dean. Welcomed with heating on. It was rather difficult to find as off road down short farm drive, signage on the main road would help. Good kitchen facilities but rather short on cutlery. A good place for a large family/friends"
