This day of hiking was filled with plenty of up and down sections. As well, it was the longest stretch of a four day/50 mile journey. However, the sound of the oceans laughter, the feel of the sun's breath and the feast of vistas fuelled our perseverance making the hiking easier.

My oldest brother and his wife, Colleen, are the veterans of hiking in the area and were the generous hosts of the trip. Their good qualities are in great abundance and perseverance is certainly one of them.

"As a working farmhouse, the B & B is at the end of a quiet road. It is set in beautiful countryside and is very peaceful. The nearest town is Haverfordwest about 3 miles away. Note it is not walkable to any shops or pubs but I knew that as I’d researched the area so this was perfect for me. The house is beautifully decorated and my room was just gorgeous. "We had a wonderful stay this new year. 30 min walk on the beach to Tenby and lots of beach walks and pubs visited. We booked a supermarket slot with Morrisons for delivery very easily. "Lovely old Welsh hotel in the main part of town. It has great traditional decor, wonderful room with large window, breakfast was very nice with very helpful staff. The only problem we had was the absence of much in the way of public transportation from the ferry port to the main part of Pembroke where the hotel was located. That was not the fault of the hotel so the hotel itself was great! "
